McKinley Village will be a 21st century urban village in the core of the Sacramento region that combines the character of the city’s most successful urban neighborhoods with homes that include modern amenities and leading edge sustainability features. This smart growth, infill community of 336 homes is designed to fit into Sacramento’s urban fabric and complement adjoining neighborhoods.
McKinley Village is located on a 48-acre site adjacent to East Sacramento and McKinley Park and connected to those neighborhoods as well as Midtown, Sutter’s Landing Park, and the American River Parkway. The neighborhood is consistent with the City of Sacramento’s General Plan that specifically designates the site for Planned Development and with the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) Sustainable Communities Strategy.
This smart growth, infill community of 336 homes is designed to fit into Sacramento’s urban fabric and complement adjoining neighborhoods.
Sacramento’s economy is on the rebound, residential for-sale inventory in older neighborhoods is low, and consumer demand for well-designed urban infill housing with modern amenities is on the rise.
Homes are expected to be available by the spring of 2015.
